Fundación Baby to Mom
Here at Fundación Baby to Mom, missionaries worldwide are driven by Jesus Christ to love and support the most needy in Duquesa, Dominican Republic, the Haitian refugees. Since its establishment in 2017, the foundation has worked to improve the lives of many communities of Vertedero Duqesa with a special focus on children and single mothers. We are dedicated to rebuilding the image of Christ within them and restoring the shalom of God in this land.
Statement of Faith
-
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the final rule for faith and practice. -
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. -
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His future return in power and glory. -
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not of works, and is received through repentance and faith. -
The Church
We believe in the local church as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, joined together for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the proclamation of the Gospel. -
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe in believer's baptism by immersion and the observance of the Lord's Supper as ordinances instituted by Christ. -
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers for godly living and service. -
Eternal Destiny
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to eternal life with God, and the lost to eternal separation from God. -
Mission
We believe in the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey Christ's commands.
Vertedero Duquesa
The Duquesa Landfill

The Duquesa landfill is a large landfill located near Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. It is one of the country’s biggest and most significant landfills, but also home to thousands of people. Living in makeshift homes, they face harsh conditions, including exposure to hazardous waste, health risks, and social stigma.
